Agodi Gardens is a prominent recreational park located in Ibadan, Nigeria. Established in 1967, it spans approximately 150 acres near the Oyo State Secretariat complex. The gardens were initially known as Agodi Zoological and Botanical Gardens and were a major attraction until they were severely damaged during the Ogunpa flood disaster in 1980. Following extensive renovations, the gardens reopened in 2014 as a modern recreational facility.

Getting There
From Ibadan: Accessible via taxis or local transport. A taxi from Sango or Ojoo costs about ₦1,000, or a keke from Mokola runs ₦500 straight to the gate.
From Lagos or Abuja: A bus to Ibadan’s Ring Road park takes 2 to 4 hours for ₦2,000 to ₦3,000, then hop on an okada to Agodi for an additional ₦300.
