The Vishwanath Temple is a prominent 17th-century Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in the central section of Patan Durbar Square, Lalitpur. Built in 1627 during the reign of King Siddhinarasimha Malla, it is one of the most intricately carved wooden temples in the complex.

The most striking visual features are the two large stone elephants guarding the entrance and the massive stone lingam (the symbol of Shiva) housed inside the sanctum, which is approximately 6 feet tall.
