Best Time to Visit
The parklands are accessible year-round. Morning and late afternoon offer optimal lighting for photography due to reduced direct sunlight. December to February is the warmest period, while June to August offers cooler, drier conditions. The lagoon is open daily from 6 am to midnight.
Facts & Legends
Streets Beach is the only inner-city man-made beach in Australia. A specific tip for visitors is to explore the various smaller, themed gardens within the parklands, such as the Rainforest Walk, which offer distinct micro-environments.
