Uppuveli Beach is located approximately 6 kilometers north of Trincomalee town center along the A15 road (Trincomalee-Batticaloa Highway). Access is directly from the A15. Parking is available along the roadside or in designated informal areas near beachside establishments. Public bus routes 777 and 778 operate between Trincomalee town and Uppuveli.
