The island itself is characterized by tropical vegetation and coastal topography.

Access to Vinpearl Land is primarily via a cable car system originating from the mainland at 48 Tran Phu Street, Nha Trang. The cable car journey spans approximately 3.3 kilometers over the sea. Alternatively, speedboats depart regularly from the Nha Trang Port. Parking is available at the cable car terminal on the mainland. Bus routes 04 and N1 stop near the cable car terminal.
Historical & Ecological Origin
Vinpearl Land was developed by Vingroup and opened in 2006. The island, Hon Tre, is a natural landmass with a tropical climate, supporting a range of local flora and fauna prior to the development of the resort and park.
Key Highlights & Activities
Activities include riding roller coasters, exploring the aquarium, enjoying water slides in the water park, watching live performances, and visiting the Vinpearl Safari. The Vinpearl Golf course is also located on the island.
Infrastructure & Amenities
The complex includes multiple hotels, restaurants, restrooms, and shaded areas. Cell phone signal (4G/5G) is generally available throughout the park and resort. Food vendors and retail outlets are present within the park.
Best Time to Visit
The best time of day for photography is generally in the late afternoon for softer lighting. The dry season, from January to August, offers the most favorable weather conditions with less rainfall. High tide is not a specific requirement for park access.
Facts & Legends
Hon Tre Island was historically used as a fishing and agricultural area by local communities before its large-scale development. A specific "secret" tip is to utilize the early morning cable car to avoid peak crowds.
