The AHHAA Science Centre was originally established in 2000. It moved to its current purpose-built facility, designed by architects Vilen Künnapu and Ain Padrik, which opened in 2011. Its original and ongoing purpose is to promote science education and understanding through hands-on, interactive exhibits.
