Limited on-street parking is available along the boulevard; a designated parking lot with capacity for 50 vehicles is located on the western side of the park.

The park was established in 1985 by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality. Its design aimed to create a functional urban green lung. The lake is fed by a municipal water supply system.
