City Center Mall is located at the intersection of Al Corniche Street and Majlis Al Taawon Street in West Bay, approximately 5 kilometers north of Doha's central business district. Access is via these major roadways. Ample parking is available across multiple basement levels and an outdoor lot, accommodating over 3,000 vehicles. Public transport options include the Doha Metro (DECC station, Red Line) which is a short walk away, and several Mowasalat bus routes that service the surrounding area.

Construction of City Center Mall commenced in 2001 and it opened its doors in 2006. It was developed by the Al Shafar Group. The site was previously undeveloped land within the rapidly expanding West Bay district.
