The statue stands 3 meters tall and depicts Mercury in his iconic opening pose from the 1986 Wembley Stadium concert. He is dressed in a military-style jacket with his right arm raised and his left hand clutching a microphone stand. The bronze has developed a dark patina, contrasted by the surrounding grey granite plinth. It is positioned directly facing Lake Geneva, with the Dents du Midi mountains providing a permanent backdrop.
