Location & Access Logistics

Sharjah National Park is situated approximately 10 kilometers east of Sharjah's city center. Access is via Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) and then Al Dhaid Road (E88). Multiple entry gates are available. Ample parking is provided within the park grounds. Public bus routes 15 and 16 stop near the park's main entrances.

Established in 1990, Sharjah National Park was developed as part of the city's urban greening initiatives. The park's landscape is primarily composed of cultivated vegetation adapted to the arid climate of the region.

The optimal time for visiting is during the cooler months, from October to April. Mornings and late afternoons offer the most pleasant temperatures for outdoor activities. Midday can be excessively hot during summer months.

Facts & Legends

A unique feature of the park is its collection of over 100,000 trees, planted to enhance the local environment. The park is a designated site for the annual Sharjah Old Cars Show.
