Bioparc Valencia, Valencia, Spain, Europe
Bioparc Valencia is a 10-hectare immersive zoo located at the western end of the Turia Garden. It is designed under the concept of zoo-immersion, where barriers are hidden to give visitors the feeling of entering the animals' natural habitats.
Visual Characteristics
The park features meticulously recreated landscapes including large rocks, waterfalls, and caves. Instead of traditional cages, it uses hidden moats, glass partitions, and natural vegetation to separate species. The architecture and flora are designed to mirror specific African ecosystems.
