Paid underground parking is available directly beneath the complex. Several public parking garages are also within walking distance. Local bus lines, including L1, L2, L3, L4, L5, and L6, have a designated "Caldea" stop directly adjacent to the facility.

The facility opened in 1994. It was designed by the French architect Jean-Michel Ruols. Its original purpose was to create a major thermal leisure and wellness center, capitalizing on the naturally occurring hot springs of Escaldes-Engordany, which have been known for their therapeutic properties for centuries.

Access to the main thermal lagoon, which includes indoor and outdoor sections, is a primary activity. Guests can utilize various hydromassage jets, waterfalls, and bubble beds. Best Time to Visit

For exterior photography, early morning or late afternoon light best highlights the glass architecture. The winter months, from December to March, are popular for experiencing the warm thermal waters amidst snowy mountain scenery. Summer months, particularly June through August, also attract a significant number of visitors. Tidal conditions are not relevant for this indoor facility.
