Theaters and Immersive Experiences

Rangos Giant Cinema: Features Pittsburgh’s largest movie screen with advanced 4K digital projection and immersive surround sound. The theater shows educational films, documentaries, and special presentations on scientific topics.

Buhl Planetarium: Equipped with a True-8K digital projection system, this planetarium offers stunning astronomy shows, laser light presentations, and guided tours of the night sky, making complex celestial phenomena accessible and entertaining.

PPG Science Pavilion

Opened in 2018, this pavilion significantly expanded the center’s capacity for hosting special exhibitions and educational programs.
