Cartoon Network Amazone Waterpark, Pattaya, Thailand, Asia

Cartoon Network Amazone Waterpark is a themed water park located in Bang Saray, Chonburi Province, Thailand, approximately 15 kilometers south of Pattaya.

Visual Characteristics

The waterpark features a jungle-themed environment with structures designed to resemble ancient ruins and lush vegetation. Rides are colorfully painted, incorporating characters and themes from Cartoon Network shows. The park includes multiple water slides, wave pools, and a lazy river.

Location & Access Logistics

The park is situated off Highway 3 (Sukhumvit Road). From central Pattaya, take Highway 3 south for approximately 15 kilometers. Turn left at the sign for Cartoon Network Amazone Waterpark. Ample parking is available on-site. Public transport options include local songthaews (shared taxis) that run along Sukhumvit Road, which can drop passengers near the park entrance; a short walk or taxi ride would then be required.

Historical & Ecological Origin

The waterpark opened in 2014. It was developed by Amazon Falls Company Limited. The site was previously undeveloped land adjacent to the coast.

Key Highlights & Activities

Activities include riding various water slides such as the "Alien Attack" and "Hummingbird Heights." The "Surfarena" offers simulated surfing. The "FlowRider" provides another surfing experience. A wave pool and a lazy river are also available. Character meet-and-greets occur at scheduled times.

Infrastructure & Amenities

Restrooms and changing facilities are available throughout the park. Shaded areas are provided by umbrellas and cabanas. Cell phone signal (4G/5G) is generally good within the park. Food and beverage vendors are located within the park's designated dining areas.

Best Time to Visit

The park is open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. For optimal lighting for photography, consider visiting in the morning or late afternoon. The weather in Pattaya is generally warm year-round, but the period from November to February offers slightly cooler temperatures and lower humidity.

Facts & Legends

The park's design incorporates over 150 characters from Cartoon Network franchises. A unique feature is the "Hydro-Force," a high-speed water coaster.
