The facility is housed in a prominent white-timber colonial building with a corrugated iron roof, originally used for processing and storing copra (dried coconut meat). The architecture features high ceilings, exposed beams, and wrap-around verandas. The marina infrastructure consists of floating pontoons and moorings situated in the deep-water harbor of Savusavu Bay, which is naturally protected by high volcanic ridges.

The marina is located on Lesiaceva Road, centrally positioned within Savusavu Town.
