Eikendal Vineyards is a renowned wine estate located in the heart of South Africa's "Golden Triangle" of wine production, nestled between Somerset West and Stellenbosch. Established in 1981, the estate spans 76 hectares and has been under the ownership of the Swiss Saager family from Zürich since its founding.
Wine Tasting Experience
Eikendal offers a variety of wine tasting options for visitors to enjoy:
Classic Tasting: A selection of five wines for a comprehensive experience.
Express Tasting: A shorter experience with three wines.
Wine & Cheesecake Pairing: Available from September to April, guests can enjoy three wines paired with different styles of cheesecake.
Wine & Pizza Pairing: Available from May to August, this tasting pairs three wines with mini pizzas, offering a unique food pairing experience.
The tasting room is open daily from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, except on Mondays. Reservations are recommended, especially for the pairing experiences, to ensure availability.
