Parking is available in designated lots along the promenade, though it can be limited during peak season.

The area was historically part of the Lanzheron estate, belonging to Count Mikhail Lanzheron, the Governor-General of Novorossiya in the early 19th century. The beach itself is a natural formation of the Black Sea coastline. The surrounding park, Lanzheronovskiy Park, was established in the 19th century.
