Public transport options include the Ruta 10 bus line, which stops directly in front of the park's main entrance.

Historical & Ecological Origin

The park was established in 1980 as part of a municipal initiative to increase green spaces within the city. The land was previously undeveloped scrubland. The vegetation consists of both native and introduced species, managed for public use.

Best Time to Visit

The best time for photography is in the late afternoon, between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM, when the sun angle provides softer light. The months of April through October offer the most pleasant weather, with average temperatures ranging from 20°C to 28°C. Early morning hours are ideal for avoiding crowds.

Facts & Legends

The abstract metal sculpture at the park's entrance is titled "El Abrazo" (The Embrace) and was created by local artist Ricardo Valenzuela. It is said to symbolize the connection between the city and its natural surroundings.
