Private boat rentals or water taxis are available from Port de Sant Miquel (approximately 8km west) or Portinatx (approximately 5km east). There is no direct road access. Parking is available at Cala Xarraca, which is accessible via the PM-737 road from Sant Joan de Labritja. From the parking area at Cala Xarraca, a short swim or kayak is required to reach the islet.

The islet is a natural geological formation, part of the Pityusic Islands' limestone bedrock.
