Tavoro Falls is a series of three distinct cascades located within the Bouma National Heritage Park on the northeastern coast of Taveuni. It is a primary destination for ecological tourism on the island.
Visual Characteristics
The waterfalls are situated in a dense primary rainforest environment. The first fall is a 24-meter vertical drop into a large, deep emerald pool. The second and third falls are set higher in the volcanic hills, characterized by tiered rock formations and smaller, more secluded swimming areas surrounded by endemic ferns and tropical flora.
