Prairie Farms Golf Course was established in 1962. It was designed by local golf course architect, Robert E. "Bob" Johnson. The course was developed on former agricultural land, transforming the prairie environment into a recreational space. The ecological origin is grassland, with the course integrated into the existing natural topography.
