LAC Lugano Arte e Cultura is a multidisciplinary cultural center located on the lakefront promenade. It is the primary venue for visual arts, music, and performing arts in southern Switzerland.

The complex is characterized by modern architecture designed by Ivano Gianola. The exterior features a prominent cantilevered wing clad in green marble (Verde Spluga), which extends toward the lake. The structure incorporates the historic 16th-century cloisters of the former Franciscan monastery of Santa Maria degli Angeli.
