The months of May through October offer the most pleasant weather conditions for outdoor exploration. High tide or low tide does not significantly impact access to the bridge itself.

Facts & Legends

The bridge is famously associated with Ralph Waldo Emerson's poem "Concord Hymn," which includes the line, "Here once the embattled farmers stood, And fired the shot heard round the world." This phrase refers to the events of April 19, 1775, at this location.
