RAK Track is situated approximately 25 kilometers southwest of the city center of Ras Al Khaimah. Access is via Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311), exiting onto Al Dhaid Road (E55) and following signs for RAK Track. Ample on-site parking is available for vehicles. Public transport options directly to the track are limited; private hire or taxi services are recommended from Ras Al Khaimah city.

RAK Track was constructed and opened in 2019. It was developed by the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) to support motorsports development in the region. The site was previously undeveloped desert land.
