Serenity Park is situated 1.5 kilometers south of Castries city center. Access is via John Compton Highway. Public parking is available along the eastern edge of the park, with capacity for approximately 30 vehicles. Bus route number 2A stops directly opposite the park entrance on John Compton Highway.

The land was acquired by the Castries City Council in 1985 and developed into a park, with construction completed in 1988. The pond was created as part of the park's landscaping. The vegetation consists of introduced ornamental species and native palm varieties.

Walking and jogging are permitted on the paved pathways. Seating is available on park benches. The pond area is designated for observation only; no swimming or fishing is allowed. Children's play equipment is located in the northern section.

Facts & Legends
A local anecdote suggests that the oldest palm tree in the park, located near the pond's edge, was planted by a visiting dignitary in the late 1980s. Official records do not confirm this claim.
