Visual Characteristics

The park is characterized by colorful high-altitude slide towers, expansive blue-tiled swimming areas, and a central shipwreck-themed children's play structure. The landscape is flat and tropical, with palm trees and sun-lounger areas interspersed between paved walkways and pool basins.

Historical & Ecological Origin

Formerly known as Belle Mare Waterpark, the facility underwent a major renovation and rebranding in 2019 to become Splash N Fun Leisure Park. The site was developed to diversify the tourism and leisure offerings on the eastern coast, utilizing a previously undeveloped coastal plot.

Key Highlights & Activities

Slide Features: Includes the Giant Body Slide, Black Hole, and high-velocity tunnel slides.

Wave Pool: A large controlled basin simulating ocean swells.

Crazy River: A circular gentle-current canal for tube floating.

Cinematic Experiences: A 5D cinema and a VR (Virtual Reality) games area.

Dry Activities: Bumper cars and a pirate-ship themed playground.

Infrastructure & Amenities

The complex includes a food court with multiple kiosks serving pizza, burgers, and local Mauritian snacks. Facilities include a first-aid station, locker rentals, and changing rooms with showers. 4G/5G cellular signal is stable. The main thoroughfares are paved and wheelchair accessible, though water slides are accessed via stairs.

Best Time to Visit

Weekdays during school terms are optimal for avoiding long queues for popular slides. During the summer months (December to February), early arrival at 09:30 is recommended to secure shaded seating.

Facts & Legends

The park utilizes a sophisticated water filtration system to maintain hygiene standards across its 3 million liters of water. A local operational fact is that the park often hosts large-scale private events and "Family Fun Days" for corporate groups, which can significantly increase visitor density on specific weekends.
