Historical & Ecological Origin
Lake Tingréla is a natural lake formed within a depression in the landscape. Its ecological significance lies in its role as a habitat for various bird species and its contribution to the local hydrology. The dark color of the water is due to the high concentration of humic acids released from decomposing organic matter in the surrounding wetlands.
