Little River Waterfalls is a natural cascade located within the Morne Trois Pitons National Park, near the village of Laudat, Dominica.

The waterfall descends approximately 15 meters over a series of moss-covered rock ledges. The water is clear and flows into a small, shallow pool at its base. Surrounding vegetation is dense, consisting of tropical rainforest species including ferns, large-leafed plants, and mature trees.

Location & Access Logistics

The falls are situated approximately 10 kilometers east of Roseau. Access is via the Waitukubuli National Trail, Segment 13. The trailhead is located off the main road connecting Laudat to the Trafalgar-falls_roseau" class="underline">Trafalgar Falls area. Parking is available at the designated trailhead. Public transport to Laudat is available via local bus routes from Roseau, with a subsequent walk of approximately 1 kilometer to the trailhead.

Little River Waterfalls is a product of fluvial erosion, carved over millennia by the consistent flow of the Little River through volcanic rock formations characteristic of Dominica's interior. The surrounding rainforest is an integral part of the island's biodiversity.

The best time for photography is mid-morning when sunlight penetrates the canopy. The falls are accessible year-round, though water flow is highest during the rainy season (June to November).
