Parking is available on a gravel area near the park entrance. No public transport directly serves the park; travel from the ferry terminal requires walking or local taxi services.

The park encompasses areas with evidence of historical settlement, including remnants of stone structures believed to be from the colonial era. For photography, early morning (07:00-09:00) provides direct sunlight on the eastern-facing sections. Mid-morning (09:00-11:00) offers good visibility for underwater observation. The dry season, from January to May, generally provides the most favorable weather conditions. Tidal conditions do not significantly impact access but can affect snorkeling visibility.

Local accounts suggest that some of the stone structures within the park were used as lookouts during periods of maritime trade and potential piracy. A specific rock formation on the northern edge is locally referred to as "The Sentinel."
