Ferrari World is situated on Yas Island, approximately 30 kilometers from downtown Abu Dhabi. Access is via Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Highway (E10) and then following signs for Yas Island. Ample parking is available within the Yas Mall complex, directly connected to the park. Public transport options include bus routes that serve Yas Island, with stops near the park entrance.

Ferrari World Abu Dhabi was developed by Aldar Properties and opened on November 4, 2010. It was designed by Benoy Architects. The park's purpose is to celebrate the Ferrari marque and offer a themed entertainment experience.

The park features Formula Rossa, a hydraulic launch roller coaster reaching speeds of up to 240 km/h.
