Ample parking is available within the Yas Island complex, with specific areas designated for event attendees. Public transport options include dedicated bus services during major events, and taxis are readily available.
Historical & Ecological Origin
Construction of Yas Marina Circuit commenced in 2007 and was completed in 2009. The circuit was designed by Hermann Tilke. Its original purpose was to host the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix and other international motorsport events, aiming to boost tourism and establish Abu Dhabi as a global sporting destination. The site is reclaimed land adjacent to the natural coastline of the Persian Gulf.

Best Time to Visit
The primary event, the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, typically takes place in late November. For general circuit access and experiences, weekdays outside of major event periods offer less crowded conditions. The best time of day for photography of the circuit itself, particularly the hotel structure, is during the late afternoon as the sun begins to set, providing warm lighting.
Facts & Legends
A unique aspect of the circuit's design is that a significant portion of the track runs through the Yas Marina, requiring boats to be moved to accommodate the racing line. The circuit is one of the few anti-clockwise tracks on the Formula 1 calendar.
