Best Time to Visit
Operating Hours: Daily from 08:00 to 17:00.
Morning (09:00–11:00): The best time to see butterflies as they are most active when the sun is out but the temperature is not yet at its peak.
Sunny Days: Butterflies are more likely to be flying and feeding during bright, sunny weather compared to overcast or rainy days.
Facts & Legends
The sanctuary plays a critical role in local biodiversity by breeding butterflies that are sometimes released back into the wild to help maintain local populations. It is one of the few places in Mindanao where visitors can get a close-up, immersive experience with such a high density of different butterfly species.
