People's Park is a 4-hectare public park and urban garden located in the heart of Davao City. It is considered one of the cleanest and greenest public parks in the Philippines.
Visual Characteristics
The park is characterized by its lush tropical landscaping, featuring over 1,000 species of plants and trees from both local and international origins. It is famous for the large-scale, colorful sculptures created by renowned Mindanaoan artist Kublai Millan, depicting indigenous people and local wildlife. The park also features a distinctive "Durian Dome" gate and a large, interactive musical fountain.

Historical & Cultural Origin
The park was established in 2007 on the site of the former Davao City PTA Ground (a sports complex). It was part of an urban renewal project aimed at providing a central green space for residents. The name "People's Park" was chosen through a city-wide naming contest.
