Visual Characteristics
The church is built in a distinctive Byzantine-influenced style, characterized by alternating horizontal rows of white and red stone (limestone and local red breccia). It features a single central dome and a three-belled open belfry (bell-cote) above the western entrance. The interior is noted for its high-quality iconostasis, painted in the early 19th century by the Greek master Nicholas Aspioti from Corfu.

The structure is situated in the "Square of the Churches" (Trg Između Crkava) at the southern end of the Old Town, positioned directly between the Catholic Church of St. John and the Citadela.
