Visual Characteristics
The aquarium features a series of interconnected tunnels and chambers designed to resemble the ruins of Atlantis. The primary construction material is reinforced concrete, finished with faux stone and plaster to mimic ancient architecture. Water tanks are constructed from thick acrylic panels. The overall color palette is muted, with blues and greens dominating the underwater views, contrasted by the sandy textures of the tank floors and the artificial rock formations.

Parking is available at the Atlantis, The Palm resort's multi-story car park. Public transport options include the Dubai Tram to the Palm Jumeirah station, followed by a taxi or the resort's shuttle bus service.

The ecological origin of the marine life housed within the tanks varies, with species sourced from different oceanic regions and managed through a controlled environment.
Key Highlights & Activities
Visitors can walk through the aquarium tunnels to observe marine life. Specific activities include the "Aquatrek" experience, which allows guests to walk on the seabed within a specialized helmet, and "Shark Safari," a guided snorkeling tour. Educational talks are conducted daily by marine biologists. Viewing of the Ambassador Lagoon, a large open-air marine habitat, is a central feature.
Infrastructure & Amenities
Restrooms are available within the resort complex. Shaded areas are provided throughout the aquarium pathways. Cell phone signal (4G/5G) is generally strong within the resort. Food and beverage outlets are located within the Atlantis, The Palm resort, adjacent to the aquarium.
Best Time to Visit
