The Baguio Cathedral, formally known as the Our Lady of the Atonement Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic cathedral located on Mount Mary Hill in Baguio City. It is the see of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Baguio.

Historical & Ecological Origin
Construction began in 1920 under the supervision of Belgian missionaries of the Congregatio Immaculati Cordis Mariae (CICM). It was completed and consecrated in 1936. During the carpet bombing of Baguio in World War II in 1945, the cathedral served as an evacuation center and was one of the few structures that remained standing.

The hill where the cathedral stands was originally called "Kampo" by the Ibaloi people before it was renamed Mount Mary by the Belgian missionaries. The church is considered a symbol of resilience for surviving the intensive Allied bombing of the city.
