The Balchik Botanic Garden is a university-managed facility integrated with the Balchik Palace complex. It is located in Balchik, approximately 40 km north of Varna.

The garden is structured in a terraced Mediterranean style, descending toward the Black Sea. It features stone pathways, waterfalls, and theme-based sections, including an English garden and a rosarium. The landscape is dominated by white stone architecture and coastal vegetation.

Access from Varna: 45-minute drive via the E87 coastal road. Regular regional buses operate from Varna Bus Station.

Parking: Paid parking lots are located near the main upper entrance and the lower promenade entrance.

Established in 1955 on the grounds of the former summer residence of Queen Marie of Romania, the garden is managed by Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski." It covers approximately 65,000 square meters and houses over 2,000 plant species from around the world.
