Historical & Ecological Origin

The site was once an old tobacco factory and later a government office complex before being converted into a forest park in 1993. It occupies approximately 2.2 hectares of land. Ecologically, it serves as a critical habitat for various bird species and acts as a major carbon sink for the city. It contains over 3,000 trees of diverse species, including narra, molave, and rubber trees.
